Staind
Formed in 1995, Staind quickly grew in popularity with the release of their self-released album Tormented. They hit the mainstream in 1999 with the release of Dysfunction. The album sold over 2 million copies, receiving double-platinum certification. The 3rd release off the album, “Mudshovel” is still a fan favorite 20 years later.
In 2001 they hit the Billboard Charts, peaking at number 5 on the charts with “It’s Been Awhile” off the Break the Cycle album. This album catapulted them to fame, featuring 3 songs that hit the Billboard Charts.
After a decade of successful album releases and sold-out shows worldwide, Aaron Lewis decided to put Staind on hold, and he pursued a solo career as a country singer. As of now, the band is just toying with the idea of a potential new album. But, in the meantime, we will bask in the glory of their 2019 reunion at Aftershock and the other festivals they plan on attending this year.
