The chart-topping success for “Judas Mind” earns Seether their 10th No. 1 on the Billboard Mainstream Rock Airplay chart and the Mediabase Active Rock chart, putting the South African quartet into an elite group of musicians who have achieved this milestone. Produced by frontman and songwriter Shaun Morgan with veteran producer Matt Hyde (Deftones, Slayer) as engineer and mixer, the new album is an honest and exhilarating journey through themes of melancholy (“Regret”), self-reflection (“Same Mistakes”), and emotion (“Dead on the Vine”), with catchy hooks and driving bombast emphasizing its many twists and turns. Songs like the chunky but atmospheric “Illusion,” released as a focus track in August, and the pulsating “Lost All Control” are massive additions to Seether’s impressive catalog.
