Rob Zombie’s Freaks on Parade Tour stop at Jiffy Lube Live on September 10, 2024, was a spectacle of theatrical rock and horror. Co-headlining with Alice Cooper, the concert delivered a night of heavy metal, shock rock, and industrial soundscapes that captivated fans.

Rob Zombie took the stage with his signature mix of heavy industrial rock and horror film aesthetics. The setlist was a blend of his most iconic tracks, including “Dragula,” “Living Dead Girl,” and “Superbeast,” which were met with roaring approval from the crowd. He also performed White Zombie classics like “More Human Than Human” and “Thunder Kiss ’65.” Zombie’s stage presence was larger-than-life, amplified by pyrotechnics, large LED screens, and gothic, horror-themed visuals that kept the energy at a high throughout the performance.

Zombie’s set started around 9:45 PM and lasted just over an hour, with each song driving the intensity higher. His charisma was undeniable, frequently engaging the crowd and encouraging everyone to sing along or scream louder. The visuals were just as important as the music, with eerie and over-the-top elements that perfectly matched his horror-metal persona. The final track of the night, “Dragula,” served as the explosive encore, leaving the audience wanting more.

Alice Cooper, known for his shocking stage antics, brought his own flavor of vaudevillian horror rock to the night. Cooper’s performance featured elaborate props like guillotines, fake blood, and monstrous costumes. He played classics such as “No More Mr. Nice Guy,” “School’s Out,” and “Poison,” which were enhanced by his theatrical delivery. His set was a masterclass in blending music with performance art, and his command over the stage showed why he remains a legend in rock.

Opening acts Ministry and Filter helped set the tone for the night. Ministry delivered a hard-hitting industrial metal set with tracks like “Just One Fix” and “Jesus Built My Hotrod,” while Filter offered a more alternative rock edge, highlighted by “Hey Man, Nice Shot.” Both bands added a raw intensity that built the energy leading into the co-headlining performances.

The overall production of the show was outstanding. Both Rob Zombie and Alice Cooper brought massive, elaborate stage setups that transformed Jiffy Lube Live into a macabre wonderland. From intricate lighting designs to monstrous props, the visual experience was as crucial as the music itself. Fans were fully engaged, moshing, singing, and living out the full shock-rock fantasy.

The Freaks on Parade Tour was a massive success at Jiffy Lube Live. Rob Zombie and Alice Cooper, two masters of their craft, gave fans a night of unforgettable performances filled with energy, theatrics, and heavy metal. For those who appreciate rock blended with horror elements, this was a dream concert that left everyone buzzing. The blend of music and horror storytelling, combined with a high-production value, made it one of the most exciting rock tours of the year.
