P.O.D., Daughtry & Seether — The Dome, Virginia Beach VA 10-1-2025

Written By: Zaneta Will

Last night at The Dome in Virginia Beach, rock fans were treated to a lineup that spanned nu-metal, post-grunge, and stadium-rock: P.O.D., Daughtry, and Seether along with opener Kami Kehoe.
The night kicked off with Kami Kehoe, whose solo fronted performance, bringing heavy riffs and a raw vocal style. While she doesn’t yet have decades of catalog behind her, she held her own, setting a tone of intensity and anticipation for what was still to come, and melded perfectly with the styles of the rock giants on the bill.
Following the opener, P.O.D. brought in that signature fusion of fight-forward energy, rap-metal influence, and spiritual undertones. Their performance felt both nostalgic and fresh — crowd favorites like “Alive” and “Southtown” got big reactions, and they leaned into dynamic stage presence, bouncing between heavy grooves and more melodic moments. The band’s connection with the audience was palpable, and their set created a powerful bridge into the more melodic-driven acts that followed.
When Daughtry took the stage, there was a shift in tone toward anthemic rock — soaring vocals, catchy choruses, and big hooks. Chris Daughtry’s voice was strong and confident throughout, and the band’s tighter, radio-friendly sound had the crowd singing along within moments and the light show was as amazing as the roaring guitars.
When Seether hit the stage, the room darkened, and the tone turned heavier, moodier. Shaun Morgan’s vocals, combined with gritty guitar riffs and the band’s darker aesthetic, delivered impact. Their set drew from both older hits and newer songs, marrying nostalgia and present momentum.

The crowd at the Dome was all ages and all backgrounds. It was great to see teens at the barricade right next to those who grew up with POD and Seether right next to them.
This was a strong night for rock lovers in Virginia Beach. The combination of P.O.D.’s grit, Daughtry’s melody, and Seether’s darkness made for a layered experience — one that offered both hits and emotional depth. The show managed to balance nostalgia and relevance, satisfying longtime fans while still feeling current.
If you were there, you likely left with a few new favorites, a few memories of raw live energy, and maybe a bit of a sore throat from singing along. All told: an energizing, memorable concert — readying the crowd for the remainder of the tour.
