After much speculation and excitement erupted around Labor Day, when mysterious flyers about shows at The Roxy, Troubadour, and Whisky a Go Go were spotted at random locations in Los Angeles, Mötley Crüe confirmed today that it will return to the Sunset Strip in Hollywood, where it all began, with a three-night string of exclusive, intimate club shows this October.

Tickets for shows at LA’s iconic Troubadour (10/7)The Roxy (10/9), and Whisky a Go Go (10/11) will be available to the public starting this Saturday (9/14) at 10AM PT, exclusively at the box offices of the three clubs and sold as hard tickets only. Sales will be limited to two tickets per person. For more information on the shows, please visit motley.com.

The three club shows will follow on the heels of the 10/4 release of Mötley Crüe’s Cancelled EP, the band’s debut record with Big Machine, which features three new songs: Top 5 Rock Radio hit “Dogs Of War;” new single “Fight For Your Right,” a cover of the Beastie Boys classic; as well as the record’s title track, “Cancelled.”

In addition to the special shows and EP release, a Mötley Crüe pop-up store with exclusive, band-curated merchandise will open on 10/6 at the world-famous Rainbow Bar and Grill on the Sunset Strip in Hollywood and remain open through 10/12 from 3PM PT to midnight daily.

Tying into the events on the Sunset Strip in October, Mötley Crüe is also introducing its new philanthropic endeavor, the Mötley Crüe Giveback Initiative, a moniker under which the band will partner with different non-profit organizations near and dear to their hearts moving forward. Kicking it off today, the band put up a pair of coveted tickets to the Troubadour club show on 10/7 for auction. Click HERE to place a bid. Today’s ticket auction will precede the start of a special auction on 9/30, which will boast the ultra-rare, stage-played, collectible instruments of the band members from each of the three historic Hollywood club shows. Funds raised from both auctions will benefit Covenant House, a non-profit organization supporting young people experiencing homelessness, a cause close to the hearts of the band members. In addition, Mötley Crüe is set to host a charity dinner at the legendary Rainbow Bar and Grill on 10/8, with proceeds also benefitting Covenant House, in an effort to reach the band’s fundraising goal of $250K for Covenant House before the end of this year. For more information about the forthcoming instrument auction, head over to motley.com on 9/30.
