Fans braved high temps Saturday night to catch one of country music’s biggest stars at Bristow’s Jiffy Lube Live. Luke Bryan brought his “Mind of a Country Boy Tour,” to the area and treated fans to a twenty-two song set that was as hot as the temps outside.
DJ Rock kept the crowd hyped with a mix of country and popular music, ensuring a lively atmosphere for fans as they made their way to their seats, as well as keeping them up and dancing between each artist. The opening acts were HunterGirl, Meghan Patrick, and Zach Top, who warmed up the crowd with their own spirited sets setting the stage for Luke Bryan.
HunterGirl opened the show and delivered a heartfelt performance, connecting with the audience through her emotive singing and relatable lyrics. Meghan Patrick followed with a powerful set, highlighting her strong vocals and stage presence. Zach Top was the last of the openers and brought his own blend of traditional and contemporary country music to the night.
Luke Bryan hit the stage at approximately 9:15 PM, and his performance lasted around 1 hour and 35 minutes. From the moment he appeared, Bryan’s charisma and stage presence captivated the audience.
Bryan’s setlist was a mix of fan favorites and covers, including hits like “That’s My Kind of Night,” “Rain Is a Good Thing,” and “One Margarita.” He also performed crowd-pleasers such as “Knockin’ Boots” and “Country Girl (Shake It for Me)” (JamBase) (98.7 WMZQ). The audience was especially thrilled by his rendition of “Sweet Caroline” by Neil Diamond and a brief, playful cover of The Weeknd’s “I Can’t Feel My Face.” Bryan also performed his latest singles “Love You, Miss You, Mean It” and “But I Got a Beer in My Hand,” which were well-received by the audience.
The tour will run through mid-September, and will also feature two stadium dates, Truist Field in Atlanta on August 17 with Bailey Zimmerman, Kameron Marlowe and Chayce Beckham and Wrigley Field in Chicago on August 25 with Bailey Zimmerman, Tracy Lawrence and Chayce Beckham.
The concert at Jiffy Lube Live was a resounding success, showcasing the talents of Luke Bryan, HunterGirl, Meghan Patrick, and Zach Top. Each artist brought their unique style to the stage, creating a diverse and enjoyable evening of country music.
