Kiss Performs Tenth And Final Show In Baltimore, MD 11-29-2023

Kiss performed their final show in the DMV area on Wednesday night playing to a sold out show at the newly renovated CFG Bank Arena in Baltimore. Nearly fourteen thousand filled the arena for one last chance to see one of the most iconic rock bands out there. The tour which has criss crossed the globe over the past five years will wrap up this weekend when Kiss plays their final two shows at Madison Square Garden in NYC.

Amber Wild, fronted by Paul Stanley’s son Evan Stanley got things started for the night. The band formed earlier this year and have released two singles, “Breakout,” and “Silver.” The band played a very solid six song set with Evan showing the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree showing signs of his father’s charisma and stage presence. The band has yet to say if a full album is in the works or when it may be released or if any other tour dates are scheduled.

Amber Wild Setlist:
Breakout
Constant Constellations
Struggle
Three Shakes
Silver
Lover

As the lights dimmed and those infamous words came across the pa system, “You wanted the best, you got the best, the hottest band in the world, Kiss!” nearly fourteen thousand fans rose to their feet as pyrotechnics went off dropping the curtain. Gene, Paul, Tommy, and Eric began their decent down to the stage as massive amounts of pyrotechnics went off behind them. The twenty song setlist kicked off with “Detroit Rock City,” and quickly transitioned into “Shout It Out Loud.” The nearly two hour long set included all the Kiss classics, as well as all of the theatrics fans have come to expect from a Kiss show. Gene breathing fire during “I Love It Loud,” spitting blood during his bass solo before launching into “God of Thunder,” or Paul ziplining to a small stage on the floor “I Was Made for Loving You” were some of the highlights of the night. Eric and Tommy didn’t miss out on the highlights, each having their own solos, and Eric starting the three song encore off with the classic “Beth.” There was no shortage of fire and pyrotechnics thru out the night which all came to head for “Rock and Roll All Nite” with confetti cannons blanketing the arena in confetti while a never ending barrage of fire and pyro went off on stage. To say Kiss went out with a bang would be an understatement. This was truly a show for the ages and no fan young or old left disappointed.
