Adrian Kempe scored twice to reach 20 goals for the fifth straight season, and Anze Kopitar returned after missing 11 games with an upper-body injury. The Kings improved to 3-1-0 on their five-game road trip that concludes Sunday at Carolina. Darcy Kuemper made 19 saves while the Flyers dropped their fourth straight (0-3-1).

How It Happened

First Period: Adrian Kempe opened scoring at 3:10 with a wrist shot from the slot, assisted by Alex Lafreniere and Corey Perry. Kempe made it 2-0 at 7:08 with a one-timer in the high slot set up by Perry, reaching 20 goals for the fifth consecutive season. Andrei Kuzmenko appeared to make it 3-0 at 7:50, but the goal was overturned after Philadelphia successfully challenged that Kevin Fiala entered the zone offside.

Second Period: Trevor Zegras got Philadelphia on the board at 0:39 on the power play, assisted by Bobby Brink and Travis Konecny, cutting the lead to 2-1.
