Ashnikko brought her ‘Weedkiller’ tour to The Anthem in Washington DC Friday night. Ashnikko recently released her debut studio album, Weedkiller back in August. The album generated five singles, “You Make Me Sick!”, “Worms”, “Weedkiller”, “Possession of a Weapon” and “Cheerleader” all of which made it into the night’s setlist. Ashnikko, the genre-defying artist known for her bold and unapologetic style, took the stage with two fellow dancers dressed in her signature eclectic fashion kicking the night off with “You Make Me Sick!” for the capacity crowd. Next up was her chart-topping hit “STUPID,” which had the entire venue pulsating with energy. Ashnikko’s performance was a thrilling blend of pop, hip-hop, and punk influences. Ashnikko’s performance was a visual and auditory feast. Her vibrant outfits, colorful visuals, and dynamic choreography complemented her music perfectly. As she delivered songs like “Slumber Party” and a melody of all four “Halloweenie” songs, the audience couldn’t help but dance and sing along. The Anthem was the perfect venue for the show, providing top-notch lighting, visuals, and sound quality. The night wrapped up with the hit, “Daisy.”
