His set was a high-octane rollercoaster that had the audience on their feet from the get-go. Highlights from Gilbert’s set included emotional renditions of “You Don’t Know Her Like I Do” and “One Hell of an Amen,” which showcased his storytelling prowess. The transition between the two acts was seamless, and the audience’s excitement continued to build. Nickelback are touring in support of their first album in five years, Get Rollin’ which was released back in November. The Canadian rockers started with “San Quentin,” and the crowd instantly recognized Chad Kroeger’s distinctive vocals. Nickelback’s set was a hit parade of their chart-topping hits, including “How You Remind Me,” “Rockstar,” and “Someday.” Nickelback’s larger-than-life stage production was impressive, featuring elaborate lighting, pyrotechnics, and a massive LED screen backdrop that added a visually stunning dimension to their performance and elevated the concert experience to a whole new level. Prior to the band getting into “Far Away” vocalist Chad Kroeger did his best Elvis impersonation as he sung happy birthday to a lucky fan. Another highlight of the night was both Josh Ross and Brantley Gilbert joining Nickelback on stage for the cover of Steve Earl’s “Copperhead Road.”
